What this site does

Book a Doctor is a Hong Kong care-information website operated by Microware Technology Limited, with the service provided by Micromeet; it serves Hong Kong only. We bring together the questions people most often have before seeing a doctor, such as roughly how much a private consultation costs, how long the wait is at a public specialist clinic, how to check whether a doctor is a specialist, whether you need a referral letter to see a specialist, and what to watch for with insurance.

Every page lists its sources and its update date so that you can check them yourself. There is also a directory of Hong Kong doctors, Chinese medicine practitioners and chiropractors arranged by specialty and district, each with their registration or specialty checked against the relevant register and dated; you can find a doctor by specialty, district or opening hours, then contact the clinic directly by phone, WhatsApp or its own booking page.

This site is operated by Microware Technology Limited. Microware Technology Limited is a technology company located at Hong Kong Science Park; its address is Units 108-110, 1/F, Building 8W, Hong Kong Science Park, Pak Shek Kok, New Territories, Hong Kong. The service is provided by Micromeet.

Micromeet also sells clinical and operational software to healthcare institutions (health-check centres, clinics, hospitals and others), spanning care teams' day-to-day workspace, health-check report preparation, continuing care, and patient-access and appointment tools; some institutions listed or bookable on this site may already use, or may later adopt, this software. So that this business relationship does not affect the neutrality of our information, we commit to the following:

• We do not rate doctors; we list only objective information that can be verified.

What this site does not do
