How much are the myomectomy packages at each hospital?

The table below lists the uterine myomectomy packages published by the 3 Hong Kong private hospitals this site checked; it is not every provider in Hong Kong. The “Doctor's fee” column notes whether the package includes the doctor's fee; for hospital-charges-only packages the doctor's fee is charged separately.

Compiled by this site: in the “laparoscopic myomectomy package” column, packages that include the doctor's fee are about HK$147,260 to HK$175,800; the hospital-charges-only package that excludes the doctor's fee is HK$84,000. Room class, length of stay and conditions differ between packages, so compare by the “Scope” and notes.

Inclusion criteria: a provider is listed only where it has published this charge on its own website and this site has checked it. Rows are in a fixed order, not by price; this site does not recommend any provider, the order has nothing to do with quality, and the list is not every provider in Hong Kong.

Frequently asked questions

Why are the myomectomy package price and the bill statistics different?

The package price is a charge set by the hospital and covers only specified items, and some packages cover hospital charges only; the bill statistics are the actual total charges of past cases published by the hospital, including the doctor's fee and the hospital charges, and are for reference only.

Do the myomectomy packages include the doctor's fee?

It depends on the hospital. In the table the packages at CUHK Medical Centre and Matilda International Hospital include the doctor's fee; the package or charge at Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong covers the hospital part only, with the doctor's fee charged separately.

Are there any cheaper options?

Some hospitals also have packages that cover hospital charges only and exclude the doctor's fee, for example Matilda International Hospital's conventional myomectomy hospital package (standard room) at HK$42,200 and Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong's open myomectomy hospital-service-only package (normal risk) at HK$55,000, with the doctor's fee to be checked separately with the doctor.
